Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the children and families at the Center of Excellence Preschool and Learning Center.
The Center of Excellence Preschool and Learning Center provides licensed, high-quality care for infants through school-aged children. Volunteers work one-on-one or in small groups assisting teachers in our four classrooms: infant, toddler, early preschool, and preschool. The Center of Excellence operates Monday – Friday 6:30 am-6 pm.
Volunteer shifts are available from 9 am-1 pm and 3:30 pm-6 pm. We ask for a weekly commitment of 2.5-4 hours (or more if you wish) for a duration of at least 3 months. Consistency is crucial to provide a stable and inviting environment for children in the Center of Excellence.
Prior to volunteering, interested volunteers will meet with the Volunteer Coordinator for a 15-minute introductory video call and have a basic background check. After the background check is cleared, you can begin volunteering and will receive more specified training on-site.
